Lost Creek, is a small small stream flowing into Big St. Germain Lake
from Lost Lake in northern Wisconsin. Put in at the public landing on
the north side of the lake and paddle west to the mouth of the creek.
You will be paddling up stream but the flow will not be a hindrance.
We've created the

Designed to be seen, voyageurs often created their designs using paint. More colorful than scraped bark, their designs many times, reflected the mark of the trading company which the voyageurs represented.
Native Americans led the way in engineering the canoe as we know it today. They used natural materials to the fullest extent possible, even taking advantage of a property of birch bark in creating their decorative designs.
Everyone has their own gear list and here's ours. "Old hat" for
a lot of old timers but if you're new to canoe camping trips this list
might come in handy. It's aimed at longer back country trips.
